If you don’t have access to CORA yet contact us so that we can set an account up for you.

For Account Holders

In order to request a copy of your credit report simply download one of the enquiry forms below depending on whether you are an individual or company. After filling out the form you can send it to us via post or drop it off at our offices

Complaint Form

Unless we require more information, we will have at least three working days from receiving your request to provide you with a copy of your credit report.


If you choose to collect a hard copy of your report, you shall be required to pay MK2,000.00 for individuals and MK5,000.00 for companies.


You should keep a copy of your enquiry form.

Please note: We will require that you send us a copy of valid identification such as a copy of your National Identification Card or passport or driving license along with the form.This is important to make sure that no one else gets your file by mistake and to ensure that no one else has fraudulently applied for your Credit Report. We will not have to send you your file until we get this information.

Disputes

As a credit reference bereau, our work involves the collection, storage, and dissemination of credit information about individuals and businesses.

 

As a data owner, you have the right to check the records we keep about you and find out about any parties that have accessed your information.

 

A dispute, also referred to as a query, arises when a data owner questions the validity of the information we keep about them.

 

We endeavour to resolve any disputes raised by data owners within 10 working days

We get our information from various data sources and as such, hard as we may try, we may not always get the most accurate information firsthand. This may lead to reports that may not reflect the real situation about your Credit History.

 

Under the Credit Reference Bureau Act 2010, all Account Holders are entitled to dispute a record that is shown on their credit report that does not present a true reflection of their credit information.

 

If you have been notified that you were declined a Credit, Insurance or Rental housing opportunity or if adverse action has been taken against you based on incorrect information from Credit Data CRB Ltd you may file a Dispute.

Initiate the Dispute Process

If you notice that the information we are holding about you is not correct, you have the right to notify us to check, investigate and correct. To file a dispute, please find the forms below

Please Note:

We will need proof of your full name and identification details and possibly proof of address from a utility bill or bank statement. This is important to make sure that no one else got your file by mistake and to check that no one else is fraudulently applying for your file. We do not have to attend to your dispute until you give us this information.

File Your Dispute

 

Fill in the dispute form and put in writing what information you have found to be incorrect on your report then send the dispute to us via email, post or bring it to our offices on the 2nd floor of the MTL Complex at the corner of Victoria Avenue and Independence Drive.

Please Note:

We’ll do our best to get back to you within ten working days, but sometimes we might need a little more time to look into your complaint. If this happens, we’ll contact you within seven days to inform you.

Check With Us

 

You can check with us monthly to see if your dispute has been resolved. We will let you know once your information has been corrected or updated, but you will have to get your credit report to make sure your updated information is correct.
